Tuusniemi is situated 60 km from Kuopio towards Joensuu. The distance between Tuusniemi and Joensuu is 80 km.

Rantala farm is situated along the road towards Heinävesi, 3 km from the center of Tuusniemi.

• When arriving to the farm from Kuopio, you should turn to the right 1 km before the center of Tuusniemi. When arriving from Joensuu, you drive past the center of Tuusniemi towards Kuopio and, after about 1 km turn to the left. On the road sign, you can see the text “Heinävesi X km”. Then you drive along this road (Salmenkyläntie) 1.9 km, and turn to the left, to Pentinlahdentie.
• After driving 300 m on Pentinlahdentie, you can see the farm on your left.
• Parking for cars is in a designated area as directed by the hostess.
• Nearest train station is situated in Kuopio, 60 km from the farm. Distance to Rissala airport (in Kuopio) is 46 km.

There are many kinds of animals living at my farm, so bringing own cats and dogs to there is allowed, by prior agreement, only when attending our sauna services.

Also, please note that we do not have any facilities for them. We do not accept leaving them in cars in hot weather during your stay.
