Green Care is refreshing and rehabilitative activity through nature and animals.

Green Care is goal-oriented activity related to nature, animals and countryside. It’s purpose is to increase and maintain people’s wellbeing. Green Care consists of rehabilitative care and recreational services. However, our Green Care services don’t include rehabilitation or therapy, but rather animal and nature-assisted activities.

Activities are always planned for each customer individually, case-by-case, based on the goals of the customer concerned. The goals of the Green Care activity may include developing and maintaining motoric skills as well as developing and increasing social interaction. Green Care activities can also be used to improve employee wellbeing. For small school and day-care groups, we can organize e.g. activities that help children to familiarize themselves with animals and nature.

Developmentally disabled and old people are particularly close to my heart. However, all kinds of groups are warmly welcome to the farm.

In case of individual guidance, customers generally commit themselves to a longer period, but Green Care services can also take place with two customers at a time. However, customers will always receive very personal and efficient guidance.

The hostess may at times be so busy that she cannot read emails every day. For cancellations made less than 4 days in advance and for no-shows, the full price will be charged and we are not obliged to refund the customer, even if you present us a medical certificate.

Prevention of Infectious Diseases:
Please make sure that your clothes have been washed and that other equipment (shoes and helmet) have been disinfected. Virkon S is the most common disinfectant. You may also leave your equipment in a hot sauna (at least 80°C) for a minimum one hour.

It’s also possible to borrow helmets and rubber boots from us. To make things go as smoothly as possible, you can come to the farm wearing clothes and shoes that haven’t been worn in another horse stable etc.

We reserve the right to make changes to or cancel the service at short notice due to force majeure. Such circumstances include, for example, winter temperatures below –25°C, or illness of the hostess or animals. In such cases we will attempt to arrange a new date for the service as soon as possible. If we cannot find a new mutually suitable time, we will refund the advance payment to the customer.

In these cases we are not responsible for any disadvantage or damage that may have been caused to the customer.
